The iconic Quicksilver HQ in Torquay re-imaged as a local Brewery. Inviting the surf coast and wider community to engage in the craft of brewing firsthand.

The Brewery itself is at the heart of the 422-seater hospitality venue with extensive glazing providing uninterrupted views of the beer making process. Comprised of a series of areas including, a tasting pavilion, open air terrace and outdoor kids’ area this 1495m2 venue offers varied experiences for people of all ages. Banquettes, booths, plinths, high benches, communal tables and planters create the foundation for a design that starts low at human scale and works its way up to the 6m high envelope.
The palette of finishes has been carefully crafted to create a seamless harmony between robust hard surfaces and tactile, detailed finishes rich in texture. Brick tiles in a varied arrangement form an extensive floor pattern bringing the vast volume of the space back to a human scale. Concrete, timber, terrazzo and leather amongst other finishes form a vibrant and joyful atmosphere conducive to enjoying a locally brewed beer amongst friends.
